Q: Heey! So basically I've eaten loads and loads of nuts today like ridiculous amounts of them!! I'm vegan ect but eargh don't know what to do!! Do I cut out fats for tomorrow? Annd the week?! Ah please help me!! Adore your blog by the way!

i am so sorry for responding to this way too late! i hope you are feeling better right now then you were when you send me this question! my advice in this situation would be to relax and not stress. Stressing is so much worse for your body then a few extra nuts! don’t worry about it! just drink some water, maybe move around a little if you’re feeling sluggish or heavy, and just sleep it off! you may want to keep your intake of nuts down the next few days just to even things out. but just see how your body feels! every body is different and some people react better to higher quantities of healthy fats then others. my boyfriend thrives off loads of plant fats while i feel uncomfortable with too much. see how your specific body reacts! find the balance of carbs/fats/proteins that works for you. but if you do want to cut back on your nut intake, make sure you eat enough calories throughout the day! lots of fruit carbs!! (and greens/veggies of course) and maybe don’t keep nuts around you if you can’t resist eating a lot of them. try eating chia sees, flaxseeds, avocado, coconut, and acai instead!
i hope this helps! sorry again that it took me so long to get back to you!
sending you love and snuggles!! and glad you like my blog =D

Q: What are your favorite fruits/nuts?

the almighty MANGO is my favorite food of all time ever! if i could only eat one food for the rest of my life mangos would be it 100% !!!!! other favorite fruits are green grapes, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and peaches. the second tier of top fruits would be pineapple, cherries, watermelon, kiwi, bananas, and all the citrusy fruits like orange, grapefruit, lemon & lime. (i’ve clearly thought this all through! ha) acai, coconut, and avocado have a special spot in my heart as well!

i’m not as crazy about nuts. pistachios and peanuts are definitely my favorites. but i generally prefer seeds. i eat chia seeds everyday and have a lot of love for flaxseeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds as well.

thanks for the question lovebug!

UPDATE: fruits i dream about trying but have only gotten to taste the juice of are: passionfruit, guava, and jackfruit. ONE DAY!! sorry haha…i’m just like, really passionate about fruit….

Q: From eating 3,000 calories a day did you find that you gained or lost weight? Ugh your food looks so amazing and you're such an inspiration!! Can you tell me everything you ate today? thanks gorg xoxox

aww thanks for calling me an inspiration =) that really means a lot to me <3 you are so sweet!

i eat 2000-3000 calories each day. it just depends how hungry i am! but it probably averages out to 2500 calories a day. i’m not sure though as i stopped counting calories (something i used to do obsessively) 1-2 years ago.

i didn’t gain or lose any weight really. maybe i lost a couple pounds but nothing major. i was at a reasonable weight to begin with, but i was really unhappy with my body composition. no matter how hard i worked out or calories i restricted i couldn’t get rid of the belly flab or love handles that i hated so much. but when i started eating an entirely plant based diet and actually upping my calories that finally changed! i don’t even work out quite as hard as i used to but i am much more toned then i used to be. i even wear crop tops now which i NEVER though possible!

it was so eye-opening for me to see the real tangible results. i understand now that “calories in vs calories out” is total BS. what we should really focus on is eating an abundance of high quality plant based foods, particularly raw fruit, greens, and veggies. this grade A fuel allows are bodies to reach their full potential!

today so far i have eaten:

  • 64 oz Green Smoothie [Kale, spinach, cucumber, pineapple, orange juice, aloe juice, chia seeds]
  • Guava kombucha
  • 2 pears, 1 apple, 10 dried apricots, small handful of sunflower seeds

it’s only 2:30 though so for the rest of the day i plan to eat:

  • Arugula broccoli soup (trying a new recipe i found on goop.com)
  • Basmati rice w/ tamari
  • Dark chocolate + almond milk for dessert

keep in mind these will be large portions of soup and rice!

have a wonderful plant-iful day you sexy minx!

xx
